Summary |
| It was fun overall - and fulfilled something I had wanted to do for a very long time
that is, visit Europe. It left me wanting more but also feeling that I had enough of certain luxuries.
The next time that I visit, I would prefer it to not be a cruise. I would prefer to eat less American 5 course dinners and have no
one "make up" my room (twice a day, no less). It seemed such a waste as rich, fat, old Americans gorged themselves at buffets while the
Indonesian staff who served them from 6 am to past 10 pm were not even permitted to eat the ice cream on board.
I did find certain ports of call very beautiful, especially the harbor of Mahon - the 2nd largest and most beautiful natural harbor in the world after Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. I would want to visit Amsterdam, Lisbon and Edinburgh again. Maybe St. Tropez too. Terms/Stuff to know as I describe the trip

I didn't sleep much before the trip. I also find it difficult to sleep on airplanes so I was quite out of it from June 13 until June 14.
