Blue Hamster has hit upon an idea! And this is a real one too! The lonesome traveler can now learn HTML from Blue Hamster Land! It will take some time, however, for the "lesson plans" to get developed. Also, Blue Hamster has decided to put her stupid Junior Research Paper online for all to see and critique. |

A new picture has been added to Blue Hamster Land's Cute Pictures page. And it has been fixed so that the pictures do appear. |

Meanwhile, don't tell anyone but we're organizing a coup to kick out the old senile Blue I and replace it with a Hamster paradise. Or not. None of you humans seemed to have ever achieved and sustained a true Utopia for long.
You'll know if we've succeeded if the message from Blue I has been replaced. Don't rush us. We're working on it.

Blue Hamster Land just "won" an award! Actually, it's a Middle 5% of the Web Award.
This site has basically become the Blue Hamster's Record of what happens in the Blue Hamster's life (as opposed to what happens in the entire Blue Hamster community.) But after all, the old wise ones have allowed the Blue Hamster to do so without the threat of any punishment. Therefore, it must be okay. This is one of the first updates that has "actual content!" Wow! Isn't that exciting? Little green aliens form 3-D space have invaded Blue Hamster Land (that little corner with no angles nor edges in cyberspace.) However, all is not lost. Because they are not after us. No, they are after your little pointer arrow thingy which you use to assault Mr Push Me or otherwise known in human-speak - a mouse. But back to the story. If you are an observant human (or whatever being you are) you will have noticed little UFO's following your mouse and shooting at it. Alas! Will the world as your mouse knows it end? (After all, they are firing at it.) No. You, and you alone have the power to rescue your mouse. Simply direct your mouse over to the box below and... uncheck it What? No box? What's going on? And where are the aliens? Fret not. The aliens have since moved from the home page to their own here
Your mouse thanks you a hundred times. Or maybe even a million. Or not
because you chose to let the aliens keep firing at it.
Now here is the place that the most generic Blue Hamster is stealing for her own
purpose. Alas, no time was broken in the races.
A 10th place finish with a time of 23:51 on a 3.1 mile course at Sections.
Alas, JV do not go on to state. :(
Th Blue Hamster would also like to take more of your valuable time to let
everyone know that she sincerely apologizes for the pop-up window.
This is what happens with free hosting. At every place, they offer refuge
to the poor CyberHamsters and CyberKoalas. But at every place, the
break their treaty/promise... (may I comment, not unlike the US government
in regards to their Native American policies.)
At least Crosswinds (the host) is making this a temporary situation (until they raise $900,000)

Hey! It's almost a whole month since the last update. The most extremely generic blue
hamster has profound apologies to those it kept waiting for new content.
The blue hamster has devoted much time (as much as 1/12 of a day) to running.
But no, this is not the running in the hamster wheel. This is running in a hamster ball,
over all sorts of terrain.
And because of this, the Blue Hamster can say that she runs 3.1 human miles (lots of hamster strides)
in 23:36!!! |

Hi! Guess what? (NOT chicken butt) There is a poll at the bottom of the home page on the right hand side. It will be changed every month or so. It happens to be "What is the Cutest Character?" right now. |

This Blue Hamster has been very busy. So busy in fact, that this site has not been updated in a month! (gasp!)
So what has the very generic blue hamster been doing? Other than writing retorical questions in essays,
the Blue Hamster has spent much time running in the hamster ball and competing in races, writing terms for AP US history,
solving for the derivatives of curves, eating, sleeping, and being a hamster.
But when is a hamster not a hamster? When it is a cat named Luna in a Sailor Moon RPG. Come join Usagi's RPG Universe! The Jokes section will be updated when I have more time. |
September 2000 |
Yay! The nameless bubble(s) have been named!
Haley came up with Marsh and Mellow.
Originally, it must have been Marshmellow,
but whether or not it has split into two different beings is uncertain.
You can see how these bubbles came to be
here.
Also, come visit the message board. It's not fancy but there are none of the dreaded ads (Aaaaaahhhh!!) If your browser doesn't support frames, you can go this way. |
August 2000 |
Well, it's August. That means school's about to start and I have to hurry up and finish all that homework (Terms and reading) <sigh>. So, currently, the only real updates are that I have a pet pikachu on the links page and that I have a pet bubble. Ah, perhaps I will tell you the story of my pet bubble. In my "copious" free time, I went swimming. I discovered that there were lots of bubbles in the water! (Oh, wow...) I also discovered that I could blow bubbles under water and catch them with my hand. Then, after catching it (like a pokemon,) I could 1) squeeze the living daylights out of it (which resulted in a lot of either bubble parts or baby bubbles, I couldn't tell), 2) play with it by letting go of it and trying to catch it again, which was usually unsuccessful, or 3) "capture" it, and display it on my web page for all to see. I did all three but the one you see here is not the same as the ones I squeezed nor the ones I played with because they escaped. I caught a pair of bubbles and they're just sitting here watching you. |
July 2000 |
This month was mainly spent "renovating" the Blue Hamster Land's home/territory. Jokes were added and the Guestbook now looks better!
Yay! Mad Libs are here! Go to the games page to find it. Right now there are just two. On the Bored Page, there is now the option of having either eyeballs or elastic "bullets" follow you around. Try it!
Meet Mr. Push Me! You can find him on the Bored Page |
June 2000 |
The first story is posted along with a few very short "biographies." If any one has any ideas or would like to help me write some, please let me know. Thanks Kat's Site of Stuff has become "Blue Hamster Land." As a result, the There is a new shortcut. Ciao! Bye! Adios! Salut! Au revoir! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
