Once there were two carrots that lived in a very poorly
tended patch of soil. Across the street was a beautiful garden, with rich soil and daily
watering. So, the carrots agreed to move there. As they are crossing the street, one
gets hit by a car. So the uninjured carrot calls for Carrot Ambulance. They arrive at the
hospital and hours later, a carrot doctor comes out to talk to the uninjured carrot, who
is in the waiting room. "How is he, doctor?" the carrot asks.
The doctor replies,"I have some good news and some bad news. Good news, your
friend will live.
Bad news, he'll be a vegetable for the rest of his life."
